Pictured below is a prototype for our gravity lift. In simple terms it’s a linear actuator assisted lift with a counter weight. The benefits of this design are that it has a significantly smaller foot print than a traditional handicap ramp. Typically a height of 3 feet would require a 36 foot ramp whereas this lift would take up no more than 18 feet. Another benefit is that there is no heavy machinery required and it can be powered by a 20 volt lithium ion battery as well as operated by a key fob or buttons. Other power options are solar, standard plug etc, Also because there’s no heavy machinery that will cut down on service calls for maintenance. This lift can be custom painted to blend in or stand out, that’s entirely up to you. If this isn’t appealing for your personal needs we do also build traditional ramps.
